Ahura Mazda this is the highest deity of the Iranian pantheon is called two-syllable: Ahura means “Lord”, Mazda – “Wise”. It is quite possible that once Ahura was called the most important or even the only god, the creator of the world and the giver of blessings. With Zarathushtra, this image acquired more definite features, but related to the non-material world.
