Description of Ei - Hand

The Ei Hand motif is employed to ward against curses and the evil eye. Depending on the context, it can have a variety of shapes and connotations, but in general, it is linked to strength, power, protection, direction, and creativity. Five is a lucky number, hence the fingers on the hand are the number five. This motif has been used from very ancient times. The hand is frequently utilized in rituals, amulets, and talismans to ward off evil spirits, provide good luck, or give healing because it is thought to have magical or supernatural qualities.
